Earring organiser

The other day I came across a small picture frame that I'd bought a few years ago but never used. A moment of inspiration came to me and decided to turn it into a hanging earring organiser.

This was a really easy project to do and involves only a few steps.

What you need?

A picture frame, embellishments, hessian and glue.
What to do:
1. Remove everything so you are just left with the wooden frame.
2. Cut a piece of burlap/hessian fabric and stick it to the back of the frame. I used a hot glue gun to do this.
3. Now decorate!

I decorated mine with some cute scalloped edge coral crochet lace ribbon, a crochet flower and some buttons. I put thread through the buttons to make them looked liked they'd been stitched on.

I've only made mine small which will fit perfectly beside my mirror in the bedroom in the recess but this can be made on a much bigger scale where you can fit in more or larger earrings.

I started to get a bit pernickity when I was putting my earrings on the organiser and putting them in equal distance holes and then stopped myself as I don't think its a good trait to encourage.

Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting.

I'm linking up at these parties.

And your right, worrying about equidistant earrings is a slippery slope!
