Monthly Blog Recap

Well we're 2 days into February already, January has just whizzed on by.  Here's a recap of what's been on The Tales of Me in January, click on the links to check out any posts you may of missed.

We said  a goodbye to 2012 and looked back at the previous years highs and low.

 smart goal setting concept

After saying goodbye to 2012 we had to say a big Hello 2013! The New Year, a time when people religiously make then break their resolutions. Did you know the definition of resolution, is a firm decision?  Well most New Years resolutions are more like passing whims then firm decisions, don't you think?.  This year I have goals I want to achieve. rather then resolutions.  Read about setting S.M.A.R.T goals to help what you achieve what you want.

January saw two new regular features, Fabulous Freebies and Friday delights.

You'll see 'Fabulous Freebies' pop up every now and again.  It is all about freebies that I have come across when perusing the internet.  From organisational freebies to party and craft printables, there is so much great stuff out there that I've found that it's only fair I share it with you.

Friday Delights is where I do a little more sharing because I'm nice like that.  From super blogs  I've come across, gorgeous stuff to buy/drool over to the occasional purchase I may of made in a weak moment.  Check out Friday Delights.

January saw some colder weather across the UK , but as much as a pain the snow can be, it's also a great excuse to get out and have a little fun on a snow day!  So we grabbed our furry hats and dog and set out for a snowy jaunt.

Lastly, Hubby and I managed to buy each other near on identical Christmas cards which was quite amusing, Great minds...

So not a bad start on The Tales of Me, I hope you  continue to check in here, I really hope to grow my little blog community in 2013!

  1. You had a great month! I missed the SMART goal post will try and get that on my list this week.

Did you know that January 17th is the "Day of Regret"? By the 17th 90% of people have given up on their resolution. Glad I also have goals!
