My Dad, my hero.
There are times in life when you need to give yourself a kick up the butt and its one of those times for me. I need to grab one of Hubbies size 12's, slip it on and give myself a boot up the ass!
Well consider it done!
Well consider it done!

Blogging from A to z, M is for Mother
We're on to week 3 of the A to Z challenge. How is everyone finding it? It definitely is a challenge eh!
Well today, M is for Mother. Not everyone is blessed with a wonderful Mother but I have been and I will be eternally grateful for that. Mother's are precious things and we should always treasure them. I have the most wonderful Mum. Yes she drives me mad at times, as her I'm sure especially when I was younger, but she is the best mother I could ever wish for. She will do anything for me and both my parents have always been 100% supportive. It's got to be said she has always spoilt me. I've never acted like a spoilt brat (least I don't think so) but I have definitely been spoilt at times. Not through lots of material things although I've never really gone with out. More for the things my Mum (and Dad) have done and do for me. My parents live with us and even now she spoils me with the things she does, if she thinks I am tired or warn out, or when my Multiple Sclerosis (MS) plays up (thankfully not much at all since starting my medication), she is there in an instant to help. She would sacrifice anything for me, so I could be happy. MS, another word for M. As an innocent little girl, I would never have never expected to grow up and be diagnosed with a chronic disease!

F is for family, friendship and food poisoning
F is for family and friendship, my immediate family was my parents and my brother. Are little family unit is a small one and my brother being 12 and a half years older then me, wasn't really interested in playing games with me. By the time I was old enough to play games he was off out with his friends. Lucky for me I had my cousin who was 2 years older then me and my best bud Nik (mentioned previously in my best friend post for the letter B) who was a year older then me. We grew up together and had plenty of fun even if I was harmlessly bullied by the older ones

Life goes on...
It's cold and a little snowy outside so a fine time to sit down on the sofa with my laptop and check out the blogmosphere and write a post too. It's been quite a week this week, work is just crazy busy and will be for the next week or so. Our workloads are ever increasing in the wonderful world of Primary care.
It's been a bit of a strange old week, at work I had to do some home visits to my housebound patients which often gets me thinking and I feel sad at the way some people have to live. Going to Nursing Homes is rarely an upbeat and happy experience. It gets me thinking of thinking of the future and some not so nice thoughts but we'll leave those thoughts alone for now I think. On top of that it was my aunties funeral last Wednesday. So today I'm definitely heaving a big sigh of relief that it's the weekend.
