Hello Friday! I've been a slack blogger this week so apologies. It's just been a busy old week. A bit late today but time for Friday Delights...
This first picture I'm sharing is from Oasis. Hubby and I with some friends are going to a Valentines Masquerade dinner and dance and I snagged myself a fabulous bargain I bought this dress for £22 reduced from £70! Sadly I'm not as leggy or slim as the model but I do find the peplum style dress is quite a good style for me as I wasn't blessed with a little waist so this dress gives me the illusion of a smaller waste then I have. The picture doesn't do justice to the dress as the colour is much prettier then it looks. It also isn't quite as short on me as my legs aren't quite as long.
I now need to find myself a gorgeous mask to wear, I never realised but there's lots of sites you can order them from. Here are some examples:
From www.venicemaskedball.co.uk |
www.maskedboutique.com |
www.masquarademagic.co.uk |
Gorgeous aren't they. I can't wait for the Valentines night. It's being held at Denbies Vineyard in Dorking and we've all treated ourselves to stay at the B and B there.
I do have one warning though, the ones I mentioned have no catches you just download the fonts and then open the files, extract all files and they are added to you computer for use on Word etc and they will also be available to use on Pixlr. Some of the sites that do offer free fonts work slightly differently and are very sneaky. When they start to download to your computer a box will come up asking you if you want to download other things which you can uncheck but then when you press ok to proceed with download if you don't read the small print it will automatically download a different toolbar for your computer (yes I did this!) it's not the end of the world but is extremely annoying and you can remove it from you computer but it took me a while to figure it out.
These doodle fonts can be found on Font space. There are lots of doodle images, borders, image fonts such as bird house, camping images, animals and many more.
Some samples of fonts. You will find each font available on most of the websites. Emily's candy is available Google, this was the font that when I found it on another site and downloaded it, the site sneaked in a new toolbar on to my computer.
Kevin and Amanda have a fabulous Blog with lots of great stuff on it and some super cute free fonts to download. They blog about their life, delicious recipes, fonts and also have some tutorials.
Well that's it for this weeks Friday Delights. Hope you've all have great weekends whatever you have planned!
Very pretty dress! Have fun at your Valentine shindig!
