Tis the season

We're nearly at the end of November so I think it's about time I got in the Christmasy mood! To help us, The Olds, Hubby and I went to our local garden centre Knights, where it was Reindeer Weekend!  This is held every year where some of Santa's *cough* Reindeer's take some time out to socialise and there is also a team of Siberian Huskies there who love to get a bit of attention.

After we met the reindeer and Huskies and warmed are cockles with a cup of hot chocolate and a yummy hot dog, I managed to drag Hubs round the Christmas department to drool over the gorgeous decorations (that would be me and not Hubs). although I've been banned from buying any more (he he he!, we'll see *queue wicked laugh*, he can't watch me all the time).

Here's some pictures of the Huskies and the Reindeer

So now I'm feeling more in the Christmas mood time to start planning what I need to do for Christmas.  I've already started to plan what pressies I need to get, haven't actually bought any yet unlike my friend who had all of them bought in a weekend at the end of October (before Halloween!).  We believe in the Rigby household that we can't start doing Christmas stuff until we've got past Halloween (unless we see something particularly good to buy).  Although it can get a  bit much I do love all the Christmas preparations and the build up to Christmas.  We had planned to go to a couple of Christmas fairs but sadly we've had to give them a miss as we have spent so much money on both our cars this month we thought we'd best leave the fairs.  We are going to Ardingly Christmas Food festival next weekend though which we're really looking forward too.  Last year we bought a yummy Christmas pudding there.

So time to plan what needs doing.  I often have lots of ideas and things that I want to do but never quite get round to it.  This year no doubt will be the same but here's my 'Possibly to do' list.

So that's what I'd like to do but we'll see.  What do you reckon?  Do you think I'll get round to making any of these things?

How about you guys?  What are your Christmas plans?

Hope everyone has had enjoyable weekends.

My daughter is going away at Christmas so we'll miss her and it is the other gran's turn to have my granddaughter on the big day so it may just be the two of us. I do love Christmas, the tinsel and the tree and the cheesy songs. Hope you have a lovely time Kate.
